Hardwater the DVD

What Goes on above the ice is only half the story

HARDWATER is a made-in-Maine feature length documentary film exploring the state’s quirky, oft-misunderstood ice fishing culture! Filmed over the course of three winters in 11 maine counties, HARDWATER was produced, directed, and edited by two locals – Daniel Sites and Ryan Brod.

Completed in the spring of 2012, the film premiered (and sold out) at the Maine International Film Festival in Waterville. It was also accepted and screened at: Camden International Film Festival (sell-out), River’s Edge Film Festival (KY), Maine Outdoor Film Festival, and SNOB (Somewhat North of Boston) Film Festival (NH). Winter screenings around Maine and an MPBN TV premiere are in the works…
